Today’s the day y’all – my non-Astro Nautico debut EP, “My RVM”, is out and available all over the internet to download. It was actually right about a year ago that I released my debut Melted Magic on Astro Nautico and following that EP I was contacted by Crabbe from B. YRSLF – the first label to show genuine interest in my tunes.
After about a year of trading back and forth tracks and all the other things that go along with a release, it’s finally out for you all of you to hopefully enjoy.
Couldn’t have really had a better first experience with releasing this EP either – B. YRSLF is a great label, made up of stand-up dudes who are releasing a great and diverse array of modern dance/electronic music. Definitely check out their past discography if you haven’t, as they really haven’t released anything that isn’t quality. They’ve also been very supportive of all of our releases here at Astro Nautico, so you know they’re family now.
This EP also marks the first time anyone has remixed one of my tracks which was really exciting and I have to give HUGE props to the three talented producers who turned in remixes for me.
Baauer is a straight-up beast and turned my tune into a club anthem. So many big things happening for him right now.
Applebottom is an extremely prolific young gun producer who will definitely be on a lot of peoples radar soon (if he isn’t already) and he turned in a beautiful remix, adding textural depth well beyond his years (17!!).
And obviously you all know that boy Kuhn by now…he turned ID ID into a mutant Japanese battle chant that is both an exhilarating and terrifying listen at the same time.
Anyway, enough rambling – preview the tracks and if you dig them and want to support, you can purchase it at any of the major online music retail sites (iTunes, Boomkat, Beatport, Juno, etc.).
Thank you to all my friends who have been supporting the EP, blasting it on Twitter and just genuinely giving props. It means a lot.
Also stay tuned in because I may just have another release planned for later this year 😉
