Astro Nautico is a record label co-curated and directed by artists Paul Jones, Bennett Kuhn, and Sam O.B. in New York and Philly. We grew up together in Huntington, Long Island before initiating the project as a net label in Brooklyn in 2009 and incorporating in 2013. Astro Nautico started by hosting free releases on Mediafire links and a Blogspot.
Today, we sell vinyl, cassettes, VHS videos, apparel, and other merchandise from our homes. Over a decade of activity, Astro Nautico has released music by artists from a variety of earthly places, amplifying sounds of all-genre experimentalism that cross pollinate with socially engaged musical political practices.
